The 6 1/2 inch width are for standard railings with a circumference of
7 1/2 inches to 9 inches.
The 4 1/2 inch width is for narrower railings with a circumference of
5 1/2 inches to 7 inches.
Measure your banister and order the corresponding kit size (if you have more than one section of banister, measure and order for each section)
